Musicians of the Old Post Road reveal musical treasures found in early American archives that traveled to this country with 18th-century immigrants! The culturally-sophisticated Moravian community provides an abundance of surviving manuscripts for this adventure. The program features Mozart's beloved Piano Quartet in G Minor, energetic works by Ignaz Pleyel and Andreas Lidl, and gems by Moravian composers John Antes and J. C. Bechler.
